1. The World’s First Open Source SD-WAN & SASE: Turtle Green Services is pioneering as the first and only complete open-source SD-WAN solution. While many networking components are open source, Turtle Green Services is unique in offering a fully open-source SD-WAN and SASE platform.

2. The First & Only Application Store for SD-WAN & SASE: Turtle Green Services revolutionizes enterprise networking and security much like Android transformed smartphones. With its open architecture, it allows a modular approach by integrating an application framework within the router and management system. This enables the deployment of networking, security, and monitoring applications directly, rather than just performing VNF orchestration.

3. SD-WAN & SASE’s First & Only SaaS Business Model: Users can sign up for an account, utilize the free tier, and pay only for what they actually use each month, similar to other SaaS platforms. This flexible model provides cost-efficiency and scalability tailored to actual usage.

While Turtle Green Services is open source, we provide several paid options, including both self-hosting and a SaaS model.

SaaS Model (Shared and Isolated Dedicated Environments):

  • Shared Environment: You can open a free account in a shared environment.
  • Isolated Dedicated Environment: For a more customized experience, you can choose an isolated dedicated environment exclusively for your use.
  • Features: We host DManager, handle setup, and ensure that the management system remains up-to-date. You benefit from regular updates and can control remote DEdge software upgrades.
  • Details:
    • Hosted multi-tenant management system (DManager)
    • Pricing is published on our website
    • End users can create their own accounts
    • Partners can create accounts and add customers/users, with billing managed directly
    • Payment is based on the maximum number of DEdge instances managed during the billing period, not on bandwidth
    • No long-term commitments; you pay for what you use each month and can cancel at any time

Self-Hosting of FlexiManage:

  • You host the management system yourself, currently supported on AWS with plans to expand to other cloud options.
  • You are responsible for supporting and managing your customers, while we support you.
  • Payment is based on usage reports you provide.
  • A 1-year commitment is required.

Both options are available. You can either host the management software yourself or use the SaaS model where DManage is hosted by Turtle Green Services. Each option comes with different pricing.

Generally, we recommend starting with the SaaS model for its ease of setup and maintenance. As your deployment grows and if it suits your organization’s needs, you can consider transitioning to self-hosting for more control and customization.
